What does DARTA do?

DARTA provides education and training to a wide range of audiences and can tailor presentations to suit any agency’s requirements in the area of alcohol and other drugs (AOD).

Each year, education sessions are delivered to hundreds of school communities across Australia and New Zealand, providing quality information to students, teachers and parents.

In addition, DARTA presents to a wide variety of community groups and organisations at conferences, seminars and workshops, both nationally and internationally.

A number of school communities have contracted DARTA to conduct research on a range of AOD issues to assist them in the delivery of best practice school-based drug education. A number of organisations have also utilised DARTA’s services in this way, including the Football Federation of Australia (FFA), Sutherland Shire Council and the Red Cross.
